This could very well lead to conceit, high-mindedness, and a sense of superiority and achievement--especially if one is successful. But the "high calling" is achieved by seeking out the pathway of God that would identify us with the sufferings of Christ. (Phil. 3:8-10). Thanks Brother letting us know this. Ministry isnt an end but a means to an end and the end there of is our total union with Christ. Getting involved in “the ministry” is not the ”high calling”.
