Getting involved in "the ministry" is not the ''high calling''. This could very well lead to conceit, high-mindedness, and a sense of superiority and achievement--especially if one is successful. But the "high calling" is achieved by seeking out the pathway of God that would identify us with the sufferings of Christ. (Phil. 3:8-10). Thanks Brother letting us know this. Ministry isnt an end but a means to an end and the end there of is our total union with Christ.

Hi David,
Thanks for the great message. We all need to hear it.
After listening I noticed that when Peter stood up and preached to the crowd at pentecost, He was speaking to devout, God fearing men (acts 2.5). Also they were familiar with Jesus of Nazereth (acts 2.22). In spite of these things though, they needed to repent and experience Jesus as Lord and Christ.
I think it doesnt matter how devout we think we are or how many stories or sermons we have heard about Jesus that make us think we know him, we all need a change of heart so we can know Him as God is revealing Him now and The King can reign in us.
So I reckon keep making us uncomfortable with the truth until we bring forth real fruit and not just empty words. I need it!

i began to listen to the messages on kingdom seeds much challenging also encouraging and in many ways making you see the condition of your self and coming to know the heart of God.on listening to these messages it rather draw you to a place of becoming attantive to the heart of god and what his desires entails for us and knowing that we are a part of those who makes out the new generation in the earth and seeing how effective you can be in the earth. Generation X without asking why haha....

Kingdom Seeds for the Season - Part 2

This is one of my favourites, i truly have gained so much from this as well as confirmation about several things.
When such depth is revealed to your spirit it cleans you, yet at the same time you realise, this is just the beginning.

Thankyou.
Katie.
